Boustrophédon

This flag, built on the graphic proximity between the Société Générale logo and the
CNT-FAI flag, highlights the points of tension generated by the impossibility of
reconciling two antagonistic social projects. Named Boustrophédon (a term for a writing
whose reading direction alternates from one line to the next), it evokes the reversibility of symbols
and the mechanisms of *détournement* and appropriation, even confiscation.
The transparency of the fabric means that, depending on the direction of the wind, one can glimpse the reverse
as well as the obverse of the flag, thereby effecting a reversal of the situation.
