This docu-fiction, halfway between journalistic investigation and conspiracy theory, explores a period
of the dark history of the Girondins de Bordeaux, the most famous football club in the region. The 1940-1941 Coupe de France and the takeover of the club in 1991 by the optician and businessman Alain Afflelou are the events around which this research is structured.
The collected/forged elements are so many clues for reconsidering local history and the
context in which it is inscribed. Individually innocuous pieces of information, once
compiled, take a most worrying turn. It thus becomes necessary to sharpen one's critical mind and to question our ways of approaching and sorting the information handed to us, as well as the value we attribute to it.
